by on March 26, 2024 | Posted in

My name is Dr. Ronald G. Shrewsbury and I graduated from the University of Louisville with a D.M.D. degree in 1985. I received the annual student award for Outstanding Achievement in periodontics by the American Academy of Periodontology, was elected to membership in the Delphi Society for outstanding academic performance and received the X. Elwood Sanders Award for Exodontia. I am president of Shrewsbury, Claywell & Oliver Dentistry, P.S.C., formerly Shrewsbury & Associates; and Oakley and Shrewsbury, P.S.C. I began practicing dentistry in 1985 with Dr. John Oakley. Over the years and with the retirement of Dr. Oakley, the practiced evolved into Shrewsbury and Associates. We are now practicing in a recently constructed building with all new state-of-the-art equipment and furnishings, an office that I had long envisioned. I have two great dental associates and a great staff, many of whom have been here as long or nearly as long as I have. I am married to Jennifer Hamilton Shrewsbury and have three children, John 33, Luke 30, and Mary Haley 28. I am a proud grandfather of one grandchild, Finnley Shrewsbury. I love spending time with my dog Julep and when time permits, I love to play golf, fish, read and travel.

Andrea Bennett

Hello, I am Andrea Bennett and have been with this office for 19 years. I became associated with this office while in dental assisting school and did my externship here with Dr. John Oakley. I was also a patient here while growing up. I started working here in 1990 after Dr. Oakley called me to work as a receptionist. After being here for a while and with encouragement from the other staff, I decided to start taking classes and apply for Dental Hygiene School. I was accepted in 1994 to Elizabethtown Dental Hygiene program through University of Kentucky. I worked here on days off while in college and after graduating in 1996, I started working as a hygienist with Dr. Shrewsbury. I feel I chose a great career. I love what I do and working one on one with my patients, and the relationships I have made with them through the years. I enjoy helping people to restore their mouths to healthy, happy smiles. I am a divorced mother of a 25 year old son. I enjoy gardening and working in the yard. I also love to travel. I feel you only have one life to see and do all you can.
